           COCHIN – LONDON

   

 

Fortune Tours Grand Europe Tour begins. Assemble at Kochi International Airport at 12.35 hrs. Check in starts at 12.50 hrs. After emigration and customs formalities Oman Airways Flight WY 224 depart to Muscat at 15.50 hrs.

 

Day 02

LONDON CITY TOUR

 

 

      

Arrive Heathrow International Airport, London at 06.30 hrs. Welcome to London, the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. London is the most populous city in the United Kingdom, with a metropolitan area of over 13 million inhabitants.  Upon arrival you will meet your airport assistant and free time for fresh up. Later we will take you for London City Tour with an expert English-speaking guide who will explain all the highlights of London's landmarks like Big Ben, St.Pauls Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, West Minister Abbey, Tower Bridge, Downing Street, London Bridge, National Gallery, Harrods, Baker street, ….…etc. Later walking through St James’s Park, you will reach in Buckingham Palace. Here you will see the changing of the guards, a colorful spectacle and British pageantry since 1660.The Queen's Guard and Queen's Life Guard are mounted at the royal residences which is responsible for the administration of the Household Division. This covers Buckingham PalaceSt James's Palace and the Tower of London and Windsor Castle. Changing the Guard, refers to a formal ceremony in which sentries providing ceremonial guard duties at important institutions are relieved by a new batch of sentries. London Eye

After hot delicious lunch we visit London Eye. The London Eye is a giant wheel on the south bank of the river Thames in London, England. The entire structure is 443 ft. tall and the wheel has a diameter of 394 ft. We will get a bird eye view of London city and it takes you on a 30 minute flight, rising to 450 feet above the river Thames and a panorama of some of London's most famous streets, churches, Palaces and monuments are spread out before you. Later enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay in London.

 

Day 03

LONDON CITY TOUR

 

   

 

Windsor Castle, the official residence of Majesty the Queen Elizabeth.

 After a buffet breakfast transfer to Windsor Castle, the official residence of Majesty the Queen Elizabeth.   Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the size of the Castle (5 hectares/13 acres) is breath taking, in fact it is the largest and oldest occupied Castle in the world and it’s the official residence of Majesty the Queen Elizabeth. Windsor castle inside visit. Here we visit State Apartments furnished with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, Royal Museum, Here we can see the valuables of Tipu Sultan, Napoleon Bonaparte…..etc. St. George's Chapel, the burial place of 10 monarchs including Henry VIII and Charles I, and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England. After lunch transfer to Thames River Cruise. The River Thames is generally not more than 300m wide as it runs through central London, and is crossed by many bridges and tunnels. Later you will visit the famous Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. It used to be known as "Madame Tussaud’s". Madame Tussaud’ s is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying waxworks of famous people. Visit Kohinoor Diamond

 

After continental breakfast transfer to Tower of London. The Tower of London, officially Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. It is one of the world’s most famous fortresses and has seen service as royal palace, prison and armory. The ancient stones hold within them dark secrets, as fortified vaults shine with priceless jewels and historic uniformed Beefeaters stroll the grounds. Situated in Central London, just a stone’s throw from the River Thames, the Tower of London is one of the city's premier attractions. Here you will see the Koh-i- Noor Diamond. The legendary Koh-i-Noor meaning ‘Mountain of Light’ in Persian is a large and colourless diamond that was found near Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, India, possibly in the 13th century. It weighed 793 carats (158.6 g) uncut and was first owned by the Kakatiya dynasty. The stone changed hands several times between various feuding factions in South Asia over the next few hundred years, before ending up in the possession of Queen Victoria after the British conquest of the Punjab in 1849. The most famous diamond in the Crown Jewels is set today in the Crown of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (1937) (Subject to the availability)

 

 

 

  

 

Walking Tour of Tower Bridge

 

Later walking tour of Tower of Bridge. Tower Bridge, one of London’s most famous landmarks, was opened in 1894 by The Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII. Designed by Sir Horace Jones is the major tourist attraction and offering unique views of London from the bridge. Tower Bridge is a two sided suspension bridge combined with a spectacular drawbridge (bascule). The two 65m steel framed towers, decorated in Cornish granite and Portland stone, are built on huge concrete piers sunk into River Thames.

 

 

Cambridge University

 

After lunch you will transfer to Cambridge. Visit Cambridge University founded in 1209.  Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world  and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university. Cambridge is formed from a variety of institutions which include 31 constituent colleges and over 100 academic departments organized into six schools. Kings College, Trinity College, Christ College, St. John’s College are the leading colleges under the University. Famous personalities like Sir Isaac Newton, Jawaharlal Nehru, Man Mohan Singh, Charles Darwin and Sarojini Naidu were the students of the Cambridge University. AMSTERDAM TOUR

 

 

Visit Tulip Gardens in Amsterdam

After a buffet breakfast, sit back and relax in your coach as we proceed to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the capital and most populous city of the Netherlands. As the commercial capital of the Netherlands and one of the top financial Centre in Europe. The city is also the cultural capital of the Netherlands. Many large Dutch institutions have their headquarters there, and 7 of the world's top 500 companies, including Philips and ING, are based in the city. Amsterdam was ranked 2nd best city in the world. April and May is the best season in Amsterdam there you can visit to Keukenhof Tulip Gardens. Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is also known as the garden of Europe and it is world’s largest flower garden. Come enjoy this spring in the flower-bulb region in Amsterdam. More than 7 million flowers blooming at this region which covers 32 hectares. Keukenhof Gardens scheduled to open from 23 March to 21 May 2017. Don’t miss the world’s most beautiful flower parade! Atomium in Brussels

 

Later you will transfer to Brussels in Belgium. Brussels is consideredthe capital of the European Union having a long history of hosting the institutions of the European Union within its European Quarter. After lunch you view the Atomium, the landmark of Brussels. The Atomium is a building in Brussels originally constructed for Expo 58, the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn and architects André and Jean Polak, it stands 102 m (335 ft) tall. Its nine 18 m (59 ft) diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. After hot delicious Parisian local lunch proceed by Le Shuttle to the glamorous city of Paris. We take you on an exhilarating city tour with an English - speaking local guide, who will show you many of the best  - loved Parisian sights - Alexander Bridge, the Arc de Triomphe, was constructed in 1806 to memorialize the triumphal battles of Napoleon Bonaparte. Standing 164 feet high and 148 feet (50 by 45 meters) wide, the arch features intricate reliefs depicting victorious battles and engraved names of many who died fighting for the emperor. Beneath the arch is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the First World War, Notre Dame Cathedral. Visit Eiffel Tower Top Level

 

Later visit Eiffel Tower 3 rd. level (subject to availability), from where you will have a splendid view of this beautiful city. Visiting the iconic symbol of Paris usually ranks as the number one thing to do for most tourists. Towering more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) high in the Champ de Mars park, this iron structure was constructed for the 1889 World Exposition by Gustave Eiffel. One of the world’s most photographed tourist attractions, the Eiffel Tower presents an excellent photography opportunity for both day and night times. Visitors can ride the elevator to see incredible views of the city or dine in one of the two fine restaurants that are situated within the tower

 

 

 

Seine River Cruise

 

Evening enjoy your time in a romantic cruise on the Seine river as we sail past some of the historical monuments on the river Seine. You will get a wonderful opportunity to a view the beautiful city from river Seine. The Seine is a 777-kilometre long river and an important commercial waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France and is crossed by many bridges and tunnels. Day 07

PARIS – FREIBURG

 

 

 

After breakfast you transfer to Metz in France. Metz is a city in the northeast of France located at the border of Germany. Metz has a rich 3,000-year-history, has been steeped in Roman culture, but has been strongly influenced by Germanic culture due to its location and history. After hot delicious buffet Parisian lunch you will pass through to Strasbourg. Strasbourg is the capital city of the Alsace region in northeastern France. It's the seat of the European Parliament and sits near the German border, with culture and architecture blending German and French influences. Later transfer to Titisee back forest area in Germany. This is the heart of the black forest, surrounded by dark fir forests, fairy tale woods and flowering meadows. Later transfer to Freiburg and dinner and overnight stay in Freiburg in Germany.

 

Day 08  

SWITZERLAND TOUR

 

 

 

Visit Rhine Falls, the largest waterfalls in Europe.

After breakfast you will transfer from Germany to Switzerland, the dream land of every traveler. On arrival in Switzerland you transfer to Schaffhausen to visit the world famous the Rhine Falls. Rhine Falls is the largest the largest waterfalls in Europe. This falls located in Rive Rhine near the town the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland. This location has been specially chosen for you to get a real feel of Switzerland. They are 150 m (450 ft) wide and 23 m (75 ft) high. In the winter months, the average water flow is 250 m³/s, while in the summer, the average water flow is 700 m³/s. The falls cannot be climbed by fish, except by eels that are able to worm their way up over the rocks.

 

 

Visit Mt.Titlis and lunch on top of mountain

After lunch you will transfer to Switzerland, the dream land of every traveler.  Here we visit the mountain tourist resort Mount Titlis. Titlis is the snow paradise in Switzerland. ENGELBERG – ITALY

After buffet breakfast you will transfer to Lucerne city Tour in Switzerland. Lucerne, a compact city in central Switzerland, sits amid snowcapped mountains on the north end of Lake Lucerne. With its colorful old town and 14th-century Museggmauer city walls, covered bridges including the iconic Kapellbrücke and spired, turreted buildings, it's the storybook image of a Swiss town. Gotthard Road Tunnel, fourth longest road tunnel in the world.

Later you will transfer to Italy by crossing the Gotthard Road Tunnel in Switzerland.  Gotthard Road Tunnel is 16.9 kilometres (10.5 mi) in length below the St Gotthard Pass, a major pass of the Alps. At the time of the construction, in 1980, it was the longest road tunnel in the world; it is currently the fourth-longest. The Gotthard Road Tunnel is one of the three tunnels that connect the Swiss Plateau to southern Switzerland and run under the Gotthard Massif, the two other being railway tunnels, the Gotthard Tunnel (since 1882) and the Gotthard Base Tunnel (2016). All three tunnels bypass the Gotthard Pass, an important trade route since the 13th century.

 

St. Antony’s Basilica, Padua

On the way experience the local lunch with meal coupon from Autogrill/ KFC /Mc-Donald’s.  Later we transfer to Padua in Italy. Here we visit St. Antony’s Basilica. VENICE ISLAND TOUR

 

 

 

After breakfast you will transfer to Venice, Italy. Venice is founded in the 5th century and spread over 118 small islands, Venice became a major maritime power in the 10th century. The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists such as Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese and other small islands. On arrival in Mestre you board to a private boat which will take you to the heart of the traditional city on the bank of Adriatic Sea. Admire the St. Mark's square with the St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge's Palace, Campanile and Bridge of Sighs and you will get a chance to visit the World famous Murano Glass Factory (subject to the availability). Leaning Tower of Pisa

 

 After lunch you will transfer to Pisa. Here we view Leaning Tower of Pisa. Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side. It is situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in Pisa's Cathedral Square. The Pisa tower's tilt began during construction, caused by an inadequate foundation on ground too soft on one side to properly support the structure's weight. The tilt increased in the decades before the structure was completed, and gradually increased until the structure was stabilized by efforts in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. ROME CITY TOUR

After breakfast you will transfer to Rome. Rome is the capital of Italy. Rome's history spans more than two and a half thousand years. While Roman mythology dates the founding of Rome at only around 753 BC, the site has been inhabited for much longer, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in Europe. After lunch we visit St.Peter’s Basilica. St. Peter’s Basilica and square designed principally by Donato BramanteMichelangeloCarlo Maderno and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, St. Peter's is the most renowned work of Renaissance architecture and one of the largest churches in the world. Later you will have an exhilarating city tour with an English speaking local guide, who will show you many of the best - loved sights like Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, Tiber river, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Fort Angelo, the Monument of Victor Emmanuel II, Arch de Constantine, the Arch of Augustus & other important Roman monuments. ROME – MILAN

 

  

 

Papal Audience.

 

After the breakfast we visit Vatican City. Vatican, the smallest country in the world or as one says a country within a country. We proceed to Vatican Square for Papal Audience.  We will have a chance to see the Pope. Papal Audience held on every Wednesdays if the Pope is in Rome, giving the world tourists the chance to "see the Pope" and receive the Papal Blessing ( Subject to the availability of Pope ).

 

 

 

Memorable Train Journey from Rome to Milan.

 

After lunch you will transfer to Roma Termini to take train to Milan. Wonderful train journey of the tour from Rome to Milan. On arrival in Milan railway station you will transfer to Malpensa Airport, Milan. Oman Airways Flight WY 144 Y depart to Muscat at 22.20 hrs.

In such changes, compensations or claiming of refunds by the guests will not be entertained by the Company for limitation and also for the non- availability of certain services with entry tickets, restaurants, sightseeing shopping etc. even though included in tour itinerary.
  • For Single passenger, without family, you will share a room either on twin or triple sharing basis (Roll away bed) depending on the booking. If we do not have a single person like you, then you will have to take the single supplement with an additional cost.
  • The tariff of the tour quoted is calculated as per the rates prevailing at the time of quoting it. The Company reserves the right to change the tariff in the event of modification / alteration / change / variation in the said rates before the date of departure.
  • Tour tariff is based on departure from Cochin, unless specifically mentioned. Tourists boarding flights at places other than Cochin have to pay the entire airfare difference and bear and pay any other additional expenses including airport transfers, hotel stay etc. on that account.
  • Tour cost is based on minimum 30 passengers travelling together in the group. If there is a drastic fall in the number, then the offered tour cost, meal plan, vehicle and other services may change accordingly and the difference amount has to be borne by the passenger.
  • Company takes care to select hotels and book the same on behalf of tourists at convenient locations subject to availability.  In case of non-availability of rooms in same hotel, Company has the right to split the accommodation in different hotels. Hotel accommodation is generally provided on Twin sharing basis in standard rooms and the third bed is often a roll-away mattress put in a twin bedded room. Air-conditioning, central heating and other facilities are provided by the hotels depending upon various factors including weather / climatic conditions, local systems, tour type, etc.
  • As a Travel House / Tour Operators, the company does not have any control over Airlines, Coach Companies, Shipping Companies, Hotels, Local Transport or any other facilities, provided by the third parties. The company is not responsible for the delays or deficiencies in the services provided by outside agencies. Also please note that the company does not have any control on schedules of opening and closing timings of the tourist attractions.
  • In computerized reservation system of Airlines seats once reserved cannot be changed. Tour participants will have to travel by the same seat provided by Airline.
  • The guests are requested to collect Air tickets, Visas and other travel documents from the respective offices of Fortune Destination Management, only after making the full payment, from where they have booked their tour. No tickets will be sent by courier.
  • Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. Fortune Destination Management India Pvt Ltd will not be held responsibility for the same.
  • There are no refunds for any services, i.e. meals, sightseeing's, flight delay or cancellation of flight etc. not utilized on the tour.
  • The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, natural calamity, delay, breakdown or irregularity that may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement. (Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause, whatsoever, and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers).
  • Any disputes arising in respect of the tour shall be subject to Ernakulum Jurisdiction.

 

  • Visa granting is a sole discretion of the concerned Embassy or Consulate. Visa fees and other Expenses such as hotel booking advance and Issued ticket rates are not refundable if visa is rejected or delayed. Personal interview at the concerned consulate if required, candidate has to go for the interview at their own cost.

 

 Cancellation Policy

A cancellation charge of 50% of the tour cost will be applicable for the passengers canceling before 15 days of departure and 100 % of the tour cost will be levied as the cancellation charge for the cancellations within 15 days prior to the departure.

Payment Terms and Conditions

 

  • The advance payment will be Rs. 25000/- A non-refundable deposit of Rs.5000/- will be applicable and which will be adjusted along with final payments.
  • The Second Instalment will be Rs.50,000/-  which will be credited in our account before the U.K. visa submission.
  • Third Instalment of Rs. 50,000/- should be settled before the Schengen visa submission
